Good Morning Claudia! Such peaceful Beautiful Corners! Thank you for sharing them. I Love that Maxfield Parrish painting above the piano… so appropriate for this room! And the Petite Princess grouping of furniture takes me back to my girlhood… we got a couple pieces for Christmas one year and I was so disappointed that they were not to scale for my dollhouse (which is a 1/12th scale)… even as a child I could tell…. but they were so pretty! That bedspread is gorgeous and I Love seeing the plants reflected in the windows of Dove Cottage. Thank you again for sharing the minis!

They have to be in a 1/16th dollhouse, I think. The chest of drawers works in my 1:12 houses. I think the scale used by Ideal Toys was not at all consistent!

      Thanks, Betsy.

      Stay safe.

what a happy mix of objects, colors and textures in these corners! i like it all, but especially the beautiful quilt and guitar.

did you make the quilt? if so, like the worn spot on don’s guitar, it’s another lovely, tangible sign of just some of the talents and dedication that you two have. thanks for sharing.

despite feeling some pressure from myself to do all the chores right now, i am going to take it easy here today … knit, start a new book, maybe clean out my purse. and try to avoid a nap to hopefully sleep better tonight.

hope you, don and everyone else have a great weekend and stay safe.

I am so sorry about the little bird. I am glad you and Don honored its life by burying it, you are good people.

I mentioned to you how much I loved “Whistler” I wanted you to know that I was on waiting list all summer, at least 3 months.

I loved the first photo, the colors the patterns beautiful to my eyes.
    Please Take Care,
Kaye ( I am trying to stay hopeful, during these nightmare days)

P.S. I realized I was on the waiting for Whistler for all of Sept. and the first week of Oct.
    It was a long wait.

I hope the weather is not too bad for you.
Take Care and hello to Don,
    Kaye

Love the doll house scenes the most! That piano with the painting! And your bed looks just like home to me, floral pillow slips and a vintage looking quilt!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
