Happy Birthday, Daddy

September 28, 2009 at 9:13 am by Claudia

Happy Birthday, Dad! My Dad is 86 years young today. This photo is of Daddy and I on a visit to meet Santa. Look at my Dad’s snappy hat! What a handsome guy my Dad is….I look pretty bundled up, don’t I? Our visits to Santa at our local department store, Muirheads, were always magical and we got to ride on a little train, too. I love this photo.

Wish I could be there with you, Daddy – I love you.

What a beautiful photo Claudia – I know those times are so special. You reminded me of the many memories I have of my Dad taking me to see Santa Claus at the old Sears building here – those were the days were they not! Have a happy week.

Your Father is indeed handsome, may his birth day celebration be blessed … with many more to come. Old photos are a favorite past time to finger thru.

Happy Birthday to your Dad! That is a very special picture and it’s special that your Dad went with you too, that was always something my Mom did. Dad was always working.

Happy birthday, Claudia’s Dad!!! He is handsome! He kind of reminds me of Jimmy Stewart in a way! My dad turned 86 this past July. 1923 was obviously a very good year!… Donna

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
