Eye Candy

June 18, 2009 at 6:42 pm by Claudia

Twelfth Night had its first audience last night and went extremely well. I had lunch today with one of my dearest friends who is the man who hired me to teach this past semester. We have known each other for 20 years and have had lots of adventures together. As my time here winds down (only a little more than two weeks to go), I am trying to be present in each moment. It is lovely here and I have had the chance to renew old friendships as well as to make new friends. Though I can’t wait to be home, I am well aware that leaving is bittersweet.

After all that, how about some eye candy from Vignettes?

I cannot tell you how much I will miss this shop. On top of all the visual beauty, Lori and her dealers and staff are the nicest, warmest people. I consider them friends and am so grateful to know them.

What wonderful pictures, Claudia! If I was there I would so buy up those little sea horses . . . I love them!

I will sure miss the beautiful eye candy you’ve been providing us, but I know you’ll be sharing pictures of your new doll house with us, so that won’t be so bad!

Enjoy the rest of your stay there!

It’s funny, how at first when we leave home, we have this feeling of sadness and how we long to be home again. But then you get to spend some time with the “new place” and though short, you somehow enjoyed your stay especially when you are surrounded by friends and other lovely people. :-)

Still, as Dorothy says, there really is no place like home :-) And you get to work on your dollhouse! I can’t wait how you’ll decorate it and use those tiny bity furniture and pillows :-)

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
