Life on the Porch

July 15, 2009 at 9:53 am by Claudia

Just a few scenes from the porch – we spend a lot of time out here in the summer – reading and watching the world go by.

Look who is also living on our property – I’ve seen these two fawns twice now. They are quite brave. The first time I saw them, I looked up from working in the kitchen to see one of them staring in the window at me. The little thing seemed shocked at the sight of me. The photo is blurry because I had to shoot through the window. They are absolutely beautiful, nonetheless.

Oh, Claudia, if I had a front porch like yours with a view like that, I’d be out there all the time too!!!

Oh, my, your fur babie are just so precious!!! Give them a tummy rub from me!

We had to say goodbye to our Hannah girl on 5/22/09. I miss her so much.

Kodak has adapted well to being the only fur baby . . . . My hubby wants another one but I’m not ready yt.

You know how much I love your front porch. I miss it as it is 90 zillion degrees here.

I also miss Riley and Scout. They look so happy that their Mom is back. Scout is always ready for a photo shoot. Max hates the camera.

The fawns are beautiful. Ours are pretty old here, they have them a little ealier down here in Fla.

    Love and miss you,
    M

My Dear, I miss you so. But it is quiet now and we are falling into a routine. I love your deer. We have bunnies all over the place now. Moira and I call them, “coyote food.” (We have coyote everywhere too.)

Oh precious! That kind of visitors I don’t have here. Maybe he/she was shocked for a little while to see a new face in the cottage. Well, seeing it’s been just a week since you came home :-)

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
