Merry Christmas!

It’s not quite this deep but we did get about 2 inches of snow yesterday. I’m not sure how much will be on the ground on Christmas Day. We’ll see.

I want to thank you for your support and your wonderful, thought-provoking comments. Thank you for taking the time to let me know you’re out there. All of you mean so much to me.

Don and I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Solstice, Kwanzaa – whatever you celebrate. Let this be a time of respite from all of the news. It’s horrific, and we all need a break. Celebrate the season and each other.

That’s what we plan to do.

    Your house looks so cozy and inviting in the snow. We got barely a dusting of snow yesterday after the previous snowpack was virtually wiped away last Thursday. The drifts in the dark corners are still there. It’s a stretch to call it a white Christmas here!
    I hope you enjoy your quiet day. I plan to do the same…. but must cook too… and keep on with my drawing the still incomplete card. I’ll be listening to Christmas music and eating gingerbread cookies!
    Your blog is a comfort to me too! Thank you for keeping on with it! :)

  11. It’s supposed to get up to 73 degrees today and tomorrow here in SC. That is a normal Christmas temperature here. I am so happy that you got at least some snow because your house looks so lovely. I am happy that we didn’t get any even though we would have been thrilled because most people around here have no idea how to drive in it including me because we rarely get to do it. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

    I’m sewing butterfly wings for my four greatnieces. It’s so nice to have babies and children at our seasonal get togethers again.
