Mr. Monarch

July 14, 2022 at 8:24 am by Claudia

I’m feeling a bit under the weather today – allergies, of course – so I’m just going to leave you with these photos of a male Monarch who happened to be exploring the coneflowers while I was outside yesterday.

He is beautiful.

Stay safe.

Happy Thursday.

My husband and I were on an island off the coast of Maine (tiny island) when the Monarch migration came through. It was incredible! We sat on the porch and watched as thousands of these dainty creatures feasted on the wild roses and other flowers before heading on to their next stop. I will never forget it!
Also, I hope you feel better soon. I think that the whole enchilada of what is happening worldwide as well as the daily dramas that unfold in the USA via guns and hearings seems insurmountable. I have given myself permission to film the hearings and watch only in the daytime. But still I wish I could sit down and weep for the world. Be Well….

    Happy Bastille Day!!
I can’t believe I stayed up and watched the whole thing early this AM (YouTube live). I don’t think I would do it again though unless in person. Also, got to catch Biden and Lapid speak in Israel.

Hope your allergy remedies give you relief & you’re back tomorrow feeling better. Hugs

    Feel better soon.
We need some rain to wash away some of the pollen in the air.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
