My Little Corner

April 22, 2012 at 7:14 am by Claudia

Besides sitting in on rehearsals in the main rehearsal studio, I often coach one-on-one. While waiting for my next appointment the other day, I pulled out my phone and took some pictures.

Have a great Sunday.

    Claudia,
Happy Sunday. I just caught up on some of your posts I’d missed.

Really enjoyed the little cemetery in Hartford. Would you think I’m creepy if I told you I love cemeteries? It must come from my mid-western roots. That’s what our family did when we’d go visit. Go see the relatives in the cemetery!
Also you ‘overwhelmed’ post struck a nerve. Your list matches mine pretty closely except I just couldn’t keep up with the blog thing. That’s why you haven’t seen me around a lot. I’m here, just lurking.
Hope your settled in, that the bass wasn’t too loud last night & that your not too homesick.

Hi Claudia! I know you’ll think this is funny. When I worked, I was a secretary. Well, I’ve sometimes wondered what it would been like to have been your secretary. Isn’t that funny, though? Anyways, I think we would have gotten on well together.

I don’t know much about Shakespeare’s plays. I can’t say I like the way they talk. That’s why I have a modern Bible. I don’t even know what The Tempest is about. I will have to Google it. Don’t get me wrong, now. I know a little about Shakespeare’s plays, just not much.

I hope you have a wonderful day! I’m keeping Riley in my prayers.

    Basic essentials.
Pitcher of what I’m assuming is water. Something to write with, a sweater…
    Camera…

    creature comforts.

–thanks for sharing your photos, Pat

Can just imagine you there patiently awaiting your pupil……….nice pics, Instagram by chance?

Claudia, do you coach actors to speak in foreign accents? Just curious.

Hope the hotel is quieter this weekend!

Never a idle moment is there. I love camera phones, they open up so many more opportunities in life.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
