It is Pink Saturday again – thank you to Beverly for keeping track of all of us every week! Please stop by the other participants’ blogs and leave a comment. It means so much when we get a comment from fellow participants…don’t just look…comment! Chances are the gesture will be returned.

I participated in my first swap this week. I know swaps are going on all the time in blogland, but I don’t always feel that I’m ‘crafty’ enough to participate. After seeing my little fabric hearts, my friend Elyse of Cottage suggested a swap and I thought it was time to face my fears! I received my package this week….oooh la la! Shall we open the box?

Fashioned by Elyse and oh-so-lovely, with the prettiest pencil I’ve ever seen! Isn’t it perfect? I think it will reside in my ‘studio.’
Buttons, tags, trims, all sorts of fun things to create with!


Oooh! Elyse’s famous clip art! I have always wanted these! Look closely…do you see my name on two of the clips? And ‘Mockingbird Hill Cottage?’ Sigh! I love them. (Have you noticed Elyse’s flowered tissue paper? Everything matches!)

I love everything, Elyse. I can’t wait to play with my treats! By the way, Elyse has her own Etsy shop and you must stop by some time.

  57. So sorry that I am getting to you a day late and a dollar short for Pink Saturday. Seems like the day just got away from me.

    The sun was out in the afternoon and all day today, so with all the rain we’ve had, I went outside to play.
