Pink Saturday & Square #13

March 13, 2010 at 3:00 am by Claudia

Happy Pink Saturday. I’ve been absent for a while for various reasons, not the least of which is the fact that I had run out of pink! But I do have something to share today. I found this sweet vintage hat/headband in an antique shop.

It has beautiful millinery flowers.

I think it was made for a child because, as you can see, Tressa has decided she must have it.

You look beautiful, Tressa!

On to Square #13:

A bowl of cherries.

Please visit Beverly for a list of everyone participating in Pink Saturday. Have a great day!

Welcome back! Love all the pink you share!
Just a quick question about your doll. What is in her mouth? Teeth?

    Thanks!

Hi Claudia…so nice to have you back on Pink Saturday. I’ve been keeping up with your squares and other projects. You’re doing a beautiful job on the embroidery…is it for the doll house? The headband is amazing with the Millinery Flowers and the braided ribbon. Looks perfect on the doll. Happy Pink Saturday!

Ooooooo, gorgeous colors in the headband!!!
When you finish your 39 project (which I LOVE BTW), do you exchange them, donate them, or frame them for your home? I’m too late to join in, but I’m enjoying what you share so very much.
    Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

    Hi Claudia,
It’s such a cute head band for your doll. My sister in law collects dolls like yours, she’s really fond of antique dolls. Congatulations on your cottage, it must be so beautiful. I’m going to raom around your blog to see if I can find a picture of it.

Happy Pink Saturday, thanks for visiting me, please stop by any time.

I found a fab hat yesterday while out antiquing. It is full of fab flowers too, I will have to post it so you can see it.

That headband is gorgeous! I would have bought it, too, for the glass head I have . . . probably better that you saw it first.

Great job on the cherries. I have problems with french knots. The first couple come out just fine, and then it’s a disaster. I think I psych myself out. Good work.
