Sad News to Share With You

November 5, 2014 at 1:58 pm by Claudia

I wanted to pass along the sad news that Judy Clark’s husband, John, passed away this morning. For those of you who know her and love her, this news will be very sad indeed. Judy wrote me about it a short time ago.

I had the pleasure of speaking to John one evening for quite a while and found him to be delightful and charming and everything good, as I knew he would be.

Judy and John were devoted to each other. Let us hold them in our hearts.

I just read this tragic news, Claudia.
I know how much he has been through in the past few years. It is wonderful that you were able to speak to him so briefly, yet he made a lasting impression on you.
He is no longer hurting or in need of any thing. We must be about the business of lifting up our sister Judy…in prayers and in love.
The grace of the LORD Jesus Christ be with her spirit. Amen.

I am so sad for Judy and her family. I knew this was close as they had called in Hospice but it is never easy. I will continue to keep Judy in my prayers. Thank you for letting us know.

I learned of this sad news from Brenda’s post. I’m glad that Judy has a great support network in the blogger world and at home. She has such a lot to deal with right now.

I’m sorry I wrote about your birthday in my comment. I didn’t mean to lump the two comments together. pam

Judy and John have been on my mind all week. They had such a good day recently on their drive and ice cream date! He was so alert and knew her that day! A good last memory for her. They were a special couple and so good to Brenda, and to others I am sure. Praying for peace and comfort for dear Judy and their family.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
