I don’t know what to say.
The debacle that took place yesterday was as shameful as it gets. Disgusting. I couldn’t watch it all because I knew I would explode. Don did – more power to him.
They act like they’re in the Mafia. You’re supposed to ‘thank’ him? For what??? For being an asshole, a traitor, and a Russian asset? They treated a world leader – a hero, mind you – like he was beneath them. This was for an audience of one – their Master.
In just about 30 days, we have become a pariah.
I didn’t sleep well last night, so I am not as articulate as I’d like to be at this moment.
The truth is that it backfired on them. They look like the weak, petty little bullies they are.
May they rot in (fill in the blank.)
I’ll post another couple of videos on Monday. It doesn’t seem appropriate right now.
Hang in there. Implosion is coming – it’s already begun.

I saw it live, tuning in to see if they had reached a good negotiation, just as the coverage was beginning. I was appalled and enraged and dumbstruck. An ambush. I was glad Z went on Fox to state his case after. It was a good interview (in the replay, at least) and he got to the audience he needed to reach, which isn’t the converted.
It was shameful.

I’m right with you, Claudia. I don’t know what to say either. I had read about it on Blusky and then we watched a little of it later on Cspan. We don’t watch the news anymore. Just when you think they can’t get any lower, there they are, proving you wrong. I need to spend this day crocheting or cleaning a toilet or something. I am just so angry I don’t know what to do. I agree with everything you said, and I would have said more. You’re more polite than I am. This morning I turned on News Mix and watched the Evil Fox News agree with Trump and Vance, and went further by describing The Hero, who was calmly putting up with their rude remarks as best he could, on camera, call him a child and worse. Fortunately Europe is siding with The Hero. Then they kick him out of the White House! Unbelievable!
I don’t want to deal with trolls today and I would have to do that if I used stronger language. I have a blog to protect.

I hope you’re right Claudia. I couldn’t watch a second of it. I honestly can’t look at him so I get my news from wire services only. I went outside this morning to cut forsythia to force inside and put away all decor that reminds me of the cold. I’m hoping this will lift me out of the persistent funk I’ve been in since November. My hope is I will allow him less space in my brain as we get closer to spring and I can be outside.

I watched the exchange in disbelief, live on the evening news. It was actually V that instigated it, thinking this was his opportunity to act like – (apologies if I offend ‘Billy Big Balls) when in fact he came across as a petulant bully.
The lack of disrespect from both of them was appalling to see. I was shouting at the TV Let him answer the question but no they continued to talk over, not even bothering to listen.

Agree with everything you said. I still haven’t watched the Oval Office humiliation. I only heard about when Dean came home from work around 6 last night. Not watching the news or even having the TV on much, except to watch Bucks games. Ignorance really is bliss these days.
We had thought of traveling in the fall (Dean is retiring this summer) and we’ve eliminated Europe for sure. Canada right now is even iffy. I am so embarrassed to be an American.
