The View from the Porch

July 12, 2009 at 10:25 am by Claudia

One of my favorites – the tiger lily – is everywhere in our neck of the woods. I love this group that blooms every year on the front edge of our lawn. As I drive around my neighborhood I see bunches of these beauties everywhere. Mockingbird Hill Cottage came with its very own magical tiger lily patch. Weren’t we lucky?

    Good Morning Cluaida!
I just love Tiger Lillies. Moma always had them on the west side of our house back home. I believe they are still there today. I always loved the color. So vibrant. As a child I remember running into the gate really fast tho, because the bees liked the lillies also. Country Hugs, Sherry

Claudia,it must be a treat for you everyday,to life in a home like that!!! I love your garden and the space you have…I only can dream of that. In the Netherlands the most houses are build with so little space around. I would love to sit on your porch and enjoy the view!

Thank you for coming over to my blog…and thank you for yours!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
