Because I’m still under the weather.
Because I managed to take some photos yesterday despite being sick.
Because this was my view for much of the day yesterday. The sun hitting those blinds makes them look neon.
Because we say so.
Because this plant loves the bathroom.
Because I love the American Musical Comedy.
Because I got up out of my sick chair and moved all the over-wintered impatiens back out to the porch. Except this one. Because it’s blooming upstairs in the studio.
Because.
Because the antique shelf that was holding all this fabric fell off the wall and broke.
Because I love this sign.
Because Riley’s Dish Garden has a mind of its own. Just like Riley.
Because this is upstairs in the studio. And I’m thinking of adding even more. Uh oh.
Because Monty’s rear view is adorable.
Happy Thursday.
I love the unusual angles that you have used for some of the photos. I like looking at my home in new ways. I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you, Gayle.
I do hope you feel better soon. Spring and summer colds/allergies are the worst!
Hugs,
Deb
Yes, I have to say that this whole thing sucks, Deb!
Lovely photos! I hope you’re on the mend soon.
Here it’s the dust that’s bothering everyone.
Pollen here, Barbara.
Because it’s satisfying to notice the details.
Here’s to good health and energy returning to you soon.
Karen
Thank you, Karen.
Nice post, Claudia. Feel better soon!
Thank you, Jacki.
Just because! Love this post. Looking at our homes through the lens of our cameras can be fun. I hope you feel better soon. Those allergy days in the Spring aren’t fun at all.
hugs,
Linda
They sure aren’t, Linda. I want to be up and about and this thing is kicking me to the curb!
Oh yes, adding more delicious white matte pottery is a MUST! Because I said so………
Feel better soon!!
xx
Thank you, Becky!
Because I love glimpses from your perspective! Get well!
Thank you, Wendy!
All of the photos are great but I think I like Monte’s rear view the best. :-) I’ve been taking allergy med for the past few days for the pine pollen here. It coats everything with yellow pollen, then when it rains it runsdown he street like a river of neon yellow paint. Ick. I feel for you my friend. I hope you’ll soon be well again.
Blessings,
Betsy
Thank you, Betsy.
Fun pictures Claudia — really like the side view of the doll house. Feel better soon!!
Thank you, Vera!
Love your ” Use other stair” sign. That is hilarious.
Get well soon.
Judy
Thank you, Judy!
Love seeing the new perspectives of the cottage! Oh, I hope you are feeling better soon. Do you have more work in Hartford yet this week?
Maybe Sunday, but if I’m not feeling a lot better, I’ll go to a run-through next Wednesday instead.
I am truly sorry you are feeling crappy and can’t get out and about…but…I must say…you take wonderful pics when you are under the weather! Hope you can kick this thing…quickly…just because! ;)
Thank you, Donnamae!
Claudia, I Love the pictures! Get well soon,……Because,
Judy A
Thank you, Judy!
I have a plant just like the one that you said “loves the bathroom.” Don’t know what it is, except that it’s a cutting given to me by my Mom about 30 years ago. And no kidding, but I think mine might be bionic because I have nearly neglected it to death SO many times. It’s recovering from quite a spell without water right now, poor forsaken little thing, but lovin’ a bright sunny day right now. Hope you are too. Feel better soon, Claudia.
If it’s like mine, it’s a pothos. They are very sturdy and can survive a lot of neglect, then once you water them, they revive almost instantly.
That must be right because mine looks EXACTLY like yours, and it never ceases to amaze me, how quickly the poor thing springs back after I remember to water it. Thank you! PS – good thing I don’t have kids – LOL. :>)
Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well. Lots of folks have been sick around here lately. My son stayed home one day this week. And a friend and her family seem to keep passing something around, They’ve been sick more than ever this year. Love seeing the because parts of your home. :) Take care, Tammy
Thank you, Tammy!
So sorry you’re sick. Pretty photos around your house though.
Thank you, Melanie!
Love the because pictures! Hope you feel better soon. Doris
Thank you, Doris!
I love the Lady Duff sign too..and the Use Other Stair sign..it is just such a fun thing..Feel better my friends..
Thank you, Nancy!
You have SO much cute stuff. Have I ever seen Monty before? I don’t think so. I LOVE how all the cream pottery goes together so beautifully as a collection! And the fabric collected off the shelf is begging, “Use me! Use me!” Sending healing thoughts; feel better! I was going to mention that it must feel so good to have light and sunshine coming thru your windows after so much dark and snow. Bears…coming out of hibernation. (Mama Bear, Daddy Bear and Scouty Bear)
It is wonderful seeing the sun and feeling its warmth. We’ve been waiting for it a long time! Monty shows up now and then on the blog, but you may not have seen him. We love him. He has the sweetest face, by the way.
Because you’re under the weather… {hug}
Aw, thanks, Pat!
Enjoyed your post. Hope you feel better soon!
Photos of the inside of your cottage always make me feel happy. I hope you’re starting to feel a bit better.
Commisserations Claudia – I know just how you’re feeling.
I’ve had three days off work confined to my bed with flu!
It’s mid Autumn over here and I must have caught a chill, so I’ve been dosing up on Vitamin C and the really good Honey.
Your photos and captions are all lovely – the soft floral fabric that Monty is gazing at is gorgeous!
Take care
Hugs
