As promised, more photos and details on the Glencroft. This will be a photo-heavy post.

Welcome to dollhouse city. And welcome to the newest house in the neighborhood, the Glencroft.

The interior.

The living room. I love the doors! And the beams in the ceiling.

The fireplace and stairs. Eeek! I love it so much. The framed artwork says “Home Sweet Home.” It’s going to stay.

The stairs turn behind an interior wall and go up to the master bedroom.

I’m not sure if I’ll keep that cutout in the wall. Another little fireplace with and inset for logs. And the cuckoo clock also came with the house.

That’s a window seat! It’s carpeted but you know I will be pulling that out.

Same for the second bedroom:

It was clearly a little girl’s bedroom. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it, but it will not be a bathroom.

The kitchen – also with beams. I would say it’s about the same size as the kitchen in the Beacon Hill, maybe a tad wider.

Going back to the Beacon Hill, a bathtub arrived yesterday.

The owner of the Etsy shop also sent along a little rubber ducky! So gosh-darned cute!

And I’ve been making books for the den shelves (mainly the ones on the top shelf. I have two of these units. Imagine how many books I’m going to have to make!

This week has been about dollhouses and, most importantly, the midterms. I have to say, it’s been an excellent week!

Don has a gig tonight.

I have to finish Exit Party by Emily St. John Mandel because it’s new and it was due on Wednesday.
