Pink Saturday

June 20, 2009 at 2:01 am by Claudia

Pink Saturday is here again…please stop by Beverly’s blog and visit all those participating. If you saw my previous post, you know that I visited Vignettes again this week. I happened upon some wonderful pink things that I will share with you.

This pink dress looks as if it is ready to be worn to the Prom.

This is the exquisite detail on an vintage child’s dress.

Oh, I think I could be talked into this – a beautiful headboard upholstered in gorgeous fabric (with pink flowers, of course.) This is from a dealer at Vignettes called Paris Flea Market. They are profiled as the cover story in this month’s Romantic Country magazine.

A sweet corner shelf.

Beautiful millinery flowers.

Have a great weekend!

Pink Saturday

June 12, 2009 at 2:06 pm by Claudia

Happy Pink Saturday, everyone! Please stop by Beverly’s to see a list of all participating. I managed to come up with some pink treasures – by the skin of my teeth!

Here we go – this little plate was found at the Barn Sale. It is old with a lot of crazing, which makes me love it even more.

This pink present is on its way to Vanessa – she won my giveaway.

This little pink bird is part of this McCoy dish, given to me by Heidi.

And this, the last of the peonies, faded to a beautiful pale pink.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

La Maison Rustique, Part Two

More photos from the Barn Sale ~ if you missed the first batch, just scroll down a few posts.

Don’t you just love this pink phone? And the chair with chalkboard paint?

I have a sideboard much like this that I made into our kitchen island – isn’t this one lovely?

What a birdcage – Donna, I hear it calling your name!

I think these are Joy’s birds on the top of the cage.

Such a pretty vignette.

Isn’t this the most incredible birdbath? I just love it.

This tall cabinet was already marked “Sold” when I saw it. I can see why.

This old screen door is so charming ~ I can see it in a storybook cottage.

I hope you’ve enjoyed all this eye candy. I only have one more barn sale before I leave to journey back East…I’ll really miss it.

This is post 225 – tomorrow I’ll post about the giveaway.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
