Time for my fabric eggs to show their faces…I gathered them up today and placed them in the wrought iron thingy. Then I looped a little organdy ribbon through it. For those of you new to the blog, I was whipping these up last year at this time when I spent 6 months in San Diego. My friend Ingrid let me borrow her Featherweight and I was sewing up a storm. It is fun to see them again with their cheery colors.

I’m not sure what to put in the bottom basket of the wrought iron thingy…still pondering that one. Any ideas?
Today might be the last of our days of glorious weather for a bit. It is supposed to be cloudy and cooler tomorrow with rain moving in on Monday and Tuesday. I can’t complain: I’ve been able to accomplish some clean-up in the yard, take the dogs on some much-needed walks, sit on my glider on the porch and feel the sun on my face. It has been so beautiful that I’ve had to force myself to read scripts and prep.
Don is thoroughly exhausted and is taking it easy today. Lee is stable. He did open his eyes for several minutes yesterday.
Squares 20 and 21:

A wheelbarrow filled with flowers for planting.

A robin’s egg surrounded by…well, I’m not sure. It is either a ribbon or a vine. I just like the look of it! Some of you have asked what I am going to do with this when it is all finished. I’m leaning toward framing it. I really love how it is turning out; it’s full of my favorite things.
I’m caught up on the squares through Sunday – see you Monday!
