We are in the midst of our holiday together and having a great time. We’ve seen Don’s family, old friends, walked on the beach, had great food – all is well. I found this photo of Scout on Don’s camera – I took it right before I left for California. Isn’t she adorable? How can you resist that face? We took this on a very snowy day in New York. Oh, Scoutie, I miss you so much (Riley, too, of course!) Have a great day, everyone!
Pink Saturday
Happy Pink Saturday everyone! I am posting early because my husband is arriving here in San Diego tonight! We are looking forward to 6 days of being together after 2 months of being apart.
First up, this vintage knitting bag I bought at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival last October. Isn’t it charming? I love vintage fabrics.
Next, the vintage barkcloth cushion cover that I have had for oh, so many years. I brought this with me to San Diego, but will most likely send it back home in April as it lives on our porch glider in the summertime.
These lovely blossoms are right outside my office window at the University. So pretty!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I will visit you all throughout the week ahead.
Please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for a list of all those participating.
Counting the Minutes
He arrives tomorrow night…so I am counting the minutes until the plane touches down. In the meantime, I am running errands, cleaning, doing laundry, and trying to teach students who are desperately in need of a spring break and know that its just around the corner.
He is getting everything ready and organized for the dog sitter. This is our first time leaving the dogs with this sitter, so there is a lot to explain. Riley and Scout, if you can hear me, be good and know that Dad will be home soon. And Mom will come home for 10 days in April.
More later.
